In order to safely transfer your site without the loss of data, please follow these quick steps:
- Backup your site files, database information, and any other data you will need.
- Login to your FTP account using the IP, user, and password in your welcome email.
- Upload all of your files to the appropriate folders and locations.
- Update your DNS records (through your domain registrar).
- Allow 24-72 hours for your domain to recognize the new DNS records.
- All done, you are now safely transfered over
Please note that we can copy over your account information from a previous host if you wish for free.
We can copy from servers with the following specifications:
- cPanel - You must have SSH Access to your web space and must be running a cPanel Distribution on the server.
- Plesk - You must have SSH Access to your web space and must be running at least Plesk 6.0 upto 8.1 Reloaded.
